Delicious and festive gingerbread cookies perfect for Valentine’s Day, made gluten-free for everyone to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, brown sugar, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  3. Add the molasses, softened butter, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are firm.
  7. Let the cookies cool before decorating as desired.
