A rich and decadent gluten-free cake featuring three layers of chocolate mousse.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 8 oz milk chocolate, chopped
  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the gluten-free chocolate cake mix, cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool completely before removing it from the pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, melt the dark chocolate and let it cool slightly.
  6. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in the melted dark chocolate.
  7. Spread the dark chocolate mousse over the cooled cake.
  8. Repeat the process with the milk chocolate and white chocolate, layering each mousse on top of the previous one.
  9. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  10. Slice and enjoy your delicious gluten-free triple chocolate mousse cake!
