- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, coconut flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until well mixed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream if desired.
