A delicious and spicy twist on traditional bagels, perfect for springtime breakfasts.

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and diced jalapeños to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil, warm water, and apple cider vinegar.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  6. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel shape.
  7. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let the bagels cool slightly before serving.
