  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Sesame seeds or poppy seeds for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten free flour, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Add the sourdough starter, warm water, olive oil, and honey or maple syrup to the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until a dough forms, then knead gently until smooth.
  5. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel by forming a ring.
  6. Place the shaped bagels on the prepared baking sheet and let them rest for about 30 minutes.
