- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Coarse sea salt (for sprinkling)
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add gluten-free flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
