A delicious gluten-free appetizer featuring crab-stuffed mushrooms inspired by Ruth’s Chris.

Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 8 oz crab meat
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (gluten-free)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure all ingredients are gluten-free.
  • Can substitute crab meat with shrimp for a different flavor.
  • Best served fresh out of the oven.
