Deliciously fluffy and easy to make gluten free potato brioche buns.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/4 cup butter (or dairy-free alternative), melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the gluten free flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, melted butter, milk, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Stir in the instant yeast and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Shape the dough into buns and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool before serving.
