A delicious and -to-make chocolate tart that is both gluten-free and vegan, perfect for dessert lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the gluten-free oats and medjool dates until finely ground.
  2. Add the melted coconut oil, cocoa powder, and salt, and pulse until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a tart pan to form the crust.
  4. In a saucepan, combine almond milk, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour the chocolate filling into the crust and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Slice and serve chilled, garnished with fresh berries if desired.

Notes

  • Make sure to use gluten-free oats to keep the tart gluten-free.
  • For a sweeter tart, adjust the amount of maple syrup to taste.
