- 1 1/2 cups gluten-free oats
- 1/2 cup medjool dates, pitted
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- In a food processor, combine the gluten-free oats and medjool dates until finely ground.
- Add the melted coconut oil, cocoa powder, and salt, and pulse until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a tart pan to form the crust.
- In a saucepan, combine almond milk, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate filling into the crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Slice and serve chilled, garnished with fresh berries if desired.
