  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional toppings (sesame seeds, poppy seeds, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel.
  5. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully drop the bagels into the boiling water for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place the boiled bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with optional toppings.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
