Delicious and cute mini cookies perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day, made gluten-free for everyone to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Heart-shaped sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Flatten each ball slightly and add heart-shaped sprinkles on top.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
