Delicious and crispy mini egg rolls filled with spicy jalapenos and creamy cheese, perfect for a gluten-free snack.

  • 1 cup gluten-free egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, and onion powder until well mixed.
  2. Lay out a gluten-free egg roll wrapper on a clean surface.
  3. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll it up tightly.
  5. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more jalapenos to the filling.
  • These can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
  • Make sure to seal the edges of the wrappers well to prevent filling from leaking out during frying.
