- 1 cup gluten-free egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Oil for frying
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, and onion powder until well mixed.
- Lay out a gluten-free egg roll wrapper on a clean surface.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll it up tightly.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more jalapenos to the filling.
- These can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
- Make sure to seal the edges of the wrappers well to prevent filling from leaking out during frying.
