- In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour and sugar.
- Add water gradually and mix until smooth.
- If desired, divide the mixture and add food coloring to create pastel colors.
- Steam the mixture for about 20 minutes until it becomes sticky and translucent.
- Let it cool slightly, then knead the dough on a cornstarch-dusted surface.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and flatten each piece.
- Place a small amount of sweet red bean paste in the center and fold the dough over to seal.
- Shape into cute forms as desired.
