8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crumbled bacon
1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 cup chopped pecans (for coating)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Mix until well combined and smooth.
Shape the mixture into a football shape and wrap in plastic wrap.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
Once firm, remove from the refrigerator and roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans to coat.
Serve with gluten-free crackers or vegetables.
Notes
For a spicier version, add more jalapeños.
Can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
Garnish with additional green onions or bacon bits before serving.
