Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten free flour, salt, baking powder, and xanthan gum.
  3. Add the honey, olive oil, and egg to the dry ingredients.
  4. Pour in the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Shape the dough into rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter roll, add more honey to the dough.
  • These rolls can be frozen for later use.
  • Serve warm with butter or your favorite spread.
