A delicious and healthy twist on traditional brownies, perfect for football season.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until well mixed.
  5. If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before cutting into football shapes for serving.
