- 2 cups gluten free all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the molasses and egg, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the gluten free flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
