A delicious and easy recipe for roasted cabbage steaks topped with garlic butter, perfect as a side dish or a main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet and brush both sides with the garlic butter mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
