A delicious and creamy hummus recipe that is gluten-free and perfect for dipping or spreading.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed for consistency

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with additional olive oil if desired.
  5. Serve with fresh vegetables or gluten-free crackers.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
