A creamy and flavorful rice dish infused with the rich taste of French onion and butter, perfect as a side or main dish.

  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown and caramelized.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the rice and stir to coat it with the onion mixture.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
