  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • Coarse sea salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a football shape.
  6. Place the pretzel bites on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush each pretzel bite with the egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
