A rich and decadent chocolate cake that is naturally gluten-free and perfect for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips and butter together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and salt until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cake has set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
