- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the cream cheese, milk, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- Place a spoonful of cherries in the center of each square and fold the corners over to form a pastry.
- Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
