A delicious and creamy Cajun pasta dish made with gluten-free ingredients and succulent prawns.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz gluten-free pasta
  • 1 lb prawns (shrimp), peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sliced bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  4. Add the prawns (shrimp) to the skillet and cook until they turn pink.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and Cajun seasoning, mixing well. Allow to simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, stirring to coat evenly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
