Scale
  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the melted butter, milk, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  5. Spread the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over the dough, and sprinkle with raisins if desired.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Arrange the slices in a circular shape on a baking sheet, forming a wreath.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
