A delicious homemade snack recipe that mimics the classic Cheez Its but is gluten-free.

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2-4 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, shredded cheddar cheese, softened butter, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Mix until the ingredients are well combined and crumbly.
  4. Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Cut the dough into small squares and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Let them cool before serving.
