  • 1 cup gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the gluten free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter.
  8. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
