- In a bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Dissolve the yeast in cold water and add to the flour mixture along with vanilla extract.
- Knead the dough until smooth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- If using, mix in orange food coloring to achieve the desired color.
- Roll out the dough and cut into triangles.
- Roll each triangle from the base to the tip to form a cone shape.
- Place the cones on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
