A simple and delicious recipe for homemade gluten-free bread that is perfect for sandwiches or toast.

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water and honey, then sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the dough to a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  5. Cover the pan with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Store leftover bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • This bread can be sliced and frozen for longer storage.
