- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, almond milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crispy.
- While the waffles are cooking, prepare the caramel sauce by combining brown sugar, heavy cream, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
- Once the waffles are done, serve them warm topped with the homemade caramel sauce.
