- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas with brown sugar and melted coconut oil until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the almond flour, gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
