- 8 rice paper sheets
- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch until well combined.
- Soak each rice paper sheet in warm water for about 10-15 seconds until pliable.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each rice paper sheet.
- Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to form a roll.
- Brush the rolls with melted butter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
