- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel the mini onions and cut the tops off, then make a cross pattern on the bottom of each onion.
- In a bowl, mix the gluten-free flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each onion in the buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Next, dip the onions back in the buttermilk and coat with gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- Place the onions in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
