A delicious and spicy gluten-free appetizer made with cauliflower and buffalo sauce, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix gluten-free flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt to create a batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Place the coated cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. In a separate bowl, toss the cooked cauliflower with buffalo sauce and olive oil until evenly coated.
  7. Return the cauliflower to the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes to set the sauce.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by using mild or hot buffalo sauce.
  • For extra crunch, you can double coat the cauliflower by dipping it in the batter twice.
  • Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for a classic pairing.
