- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh rosemary, for garnish
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Once risen, punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
- Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough.
- Sprinkle minced garlic, parmesan cheese, and rosemary on top.
- Drizzle with olive oil and let it rest for another 20 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
