- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- Green food coloring
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Sprinkles for decoration
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Stir in green food coloring until the desired color is achieved.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to make the frosting.
- Frost the cooled cookies and decorate with sprinkles.
