Easy Gluten-Free Banana Bread Without Sugar (Naturally Sweet)

A wholesome gluten-free and sugar-free banana bread made with ripe bananas, almond flour, and oat flour, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

  • 4 super ripe bananas
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup certified gluten-free oat flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth with small chunks remaining.
  3. Mix melted coconut oil into mashed bananas until combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together almond flour, oat flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  6. Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  7. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips if using.
  8. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with few moist crumbs.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for best results. Store in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge, or freeze for up to three months.
