Easy Garlic Flatbread (No Yeast!)

A swift and delicious gluten-free flatbread infused with garlic, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour (certified gluten-free)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ¾ cup Warm water
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  2. Pour warm water and olive oil into the flour mixture.
  3. Knead dough in the bowl until fully incorporated and smooth.
  4. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Prepare garlic butter by melting unsalted butter in a small saucepan with minced garlic, parsley, additional salt, and black pepper.
  6. Roll rested dough on a floured surface until about ¼ inch thick.
  7. Cut dough into desired shapes.
  8. Heat skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil if necessary.
  9. Cook flatbreads in the skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Brush hot flatbreads with garlic butter immediately.
