  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and butter together until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until fully incorporated.
  6. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the torte to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
