  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup spring M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking pan.
  2. Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy in another bowl.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the M&Ms and sprinkles.
  7. Spread the batter into an even layer in the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool completely.
  10. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together until smooth for the frosting and spread over the cooled cookie cake.
  11. Decorate with extra sprinkles if desired.
  12. Slice and serve!
