  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, blend the pistachios until finely ground.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground pistachios, cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, and salt until combined.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a tart pan to form the crust.
  5. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  6. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just simmering.
  7. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  8. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  9. Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
