A delicious recipe for perfectly crispy bites that are easy to make and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 10 sheets of rice paper
  • 1 cup of finely chopped vegetables (carrots, cabbage, and mushrooms)
  • 1/2 cup of cooked shrimp or tofu (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice paper sheets in warm water until soft.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped vegetables, shrimp or tofu, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  3. Place a spoonful of the filling onto the center of each rice paper sheet.
  4. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to form a dumpling.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the dumplings until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  7. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overfill the dumplings to prevent them from bursting while frying.
  • Experiment with different fillings based on your preference.
  • These dumplings can be frozen before frying for later use.
