A delightful twist on the traditional chicken dish, combining crispy chicken breasts, savory ham, and creamy Swiss cheese with a golden breadcrumb crust.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat oil in a pan for frying.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess.
  4. Dip into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Arrange on a greased baking sheet if baking. If frying, place in the hot oil.
  6. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side if frying, or 25-30 minutes if baking.
  7. Place a slice of ham and cheese on each chicken breast to melt in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  8. Drizzle honey mustard sauce over the top before serving.
