  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and blanch the cauliflower florets for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to the saucepan, stirring to combine.
  5. Stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine the blanched cauliflower with the cheese sauce and mix well.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
