- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
