Chocolate Peanut Butter Treats

Easy recipe for deliciously indulgent snacks that are gluten free and dairy free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cups gluten free oats
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth.
  2. Add gluten free oats and mix until well combined.
  3. Melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave or double boiler.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the peanut butter and oat mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  5. Press the mixture into a lined baking dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  6. Once set, cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Feel free to add nuts or dried fruit for extra texture.
