A delightful dessert featuring a rich chocolate mousse filling on a crunchy chocolate cookie crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate mousse (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  2. Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar in a separate mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream gently into the chocolate mousse until fully combined.
  4. Pour the mousse mixture into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  6. Garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

Keep the cream cold for better whipping results.
