Delightful gluten-free buns filled with a luscious mixture of cream cheese, strawberries, and vanilla.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, diced
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix warm milk, melted butter, and egg in another bowl.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until well incorporated.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise for about 60 minutes.
  6. Blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and strawberries for the filling.
  7. Roll out the risen dough and cut it into circles.
  8. Spoon the cheesecake filling into the center of each circle.
  9. Fold and pinch to seal each bun.
  10. Place the buns on a baking sheet.
  11. Let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
  12. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  13. Bake the buns for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  14. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
