A warm and comforting blueberry crisp with a crunchy, buttery topping that evokes nostalgic family memories.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Grease the baking dish lightly.
  3. Mix blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. Spread mixture inside the dish.
  5. Combine flour, oats, and brown sugar in another bowl.
  6. Add cinnamon and salt to the dry mixture.
  7. Cut butter into the dry mixture until crumbly.
  8. Sprinkle topping over blueberries.
  9. Bake until golden and bubbly, about 30-35 minutes.
