Delicious homemade gluten-free bars made with ripe bananas and rolled oats, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the mashed bananas, rolled oats, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a large bowl until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
